After Fifteen years of hospital based clinical practice and working in the courts as an expert witness, Dr. Wheeler became convinced that there was a need for professionals who are cross-trained in psychology and the law. Having completed law school, Dr. Wheeler seeks to educate lawyers about mental health issues and to educate clinicians about the law. Dr. Wheeler has taught law school and also teaches at the university level.
Services Offered: 
Criminal and civil trial-related consultations, evaluations and expert testimony in state and federal courts on a wide variety of psycho-legal issues, including criminal competency and responsibility, insanity, risk of dangerousness, and psycholegal issues.

Clinical services include cognitive and emotional psychological evaluations of children and adolescents principally with learning, cognitive, and pervasive developmental disorders, including psychoeducational evaluations with written reports with specific recommendations for use by parents and schools in meeting the learning needs of their children.
