Mr. Briggs has been involved in the Marine Industry in New England for over 45 Years. He owned a boat building and repair yard, Molly's Cove Boatworks, for several years where they developed an method of saving "older and poor condition" wooden boats. Also new construction in FRP 16 to 40 Ft. Experience as a private yacht captain and delivery captain, and USCG licensed master of of 500 tons. He has taught navigation, lifeboat and sea survival, seamanship, sailing, boat and ship handling, boat building and repair, and vessel safety, Including writing, implementing and teaching the "Federal Fishing Vessel Safety Course' For the USCG that is used through out all the USCG districts. I taught at North East Maritime Academy and Tabor Academy.
