Question 17-Year-Old Taken for Enlistment by Non-Custodial Parent

I just found out that my X husband and his new wife took my daughter to the USAF recruiter's office to enlist today. She is 17. Should the recruiter have met with this other woman present? Our child does not live with this woman, she has never had custody of her, etc.

Default Re: Does This Violate Any Regulations

Her presence is irrelevent as long as a legal guardian (her father) was there. They could have brought in 15 strangers off the street with them if they wanted to.
