Default Car is Not Deliverable After All Papers Signed

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: california

i inquired a car through internet, one dealer called me said they have the exact car that i want. so i went down to the dealer and they show me the car info, their inventory sheet saying they can get the car in 30 to 45 mins. in the meanwhile get the deal and paper done and i am ready to take the car home. so i got the deal, signed every documents, but the car still not available, so the sales said they can deliver the car to my house within 2 hours. but later sales called me up saying the car actually not available and still pending for vehicle test, once test passed they will deliver right away. but how long they don't know. so what can i do at this point? please advise. thank you.

what do you want to do? If you want to wait, wait. If you do not want to wait, cancel the sale.

I personally would tend to cancel a sale when it is clear that I am getting a run-around. And, I would never deal with that outfit again. If the issue is that you think the deal you are getting is too good to be true, your post sounds like it is exactly that. And, assuming this vehicle really exists, I'd be wondering about what is wrong with it that is keeping it from passing whatever tests they are doing and what they are doing to cover it up.

Disclaimer: I don't trust car dealers or car salesman. This may affect my opinions in this area.

In reality they sold you a car they do not have. They obviously are getting the car from another dealer and there are complications.

You can't possibly accept a car you did not inspect in advance.

I would void the agreement immediately.
