My question involves restraining orders in the State of: louisiana
this is very difficult i hope i can be clear. my friend put a restraining order on a woman that claims her kid is for my friend's boyfriend. dna test has been offered twice. she refused. two days after the order expired the restrained got as close to my friend as possible resulting in a fist fight. my friend was arrested but charges were dropped. things seemed to be clearing up, but something happened and it got ugly again. my friend is now emailing the restrained and the 13 year old thats involved. my friend is losing her mind, suffering from mental breakdown. she's doing some really crazy things. yes the other woman involved did wrong, but she has left everyone alone and it has become my friend that keeps dragging stuff out. which we could easily chalk it up to "cat fights" but there is a minor involved and serious alligations. i need some real answers or info to give her before she gets in trouble. what can she do, what can't she do? if/when the other woman has enough and takes action against my friend, will the past order come up? would her mental instability be looked at? there is so much going on with this situation, i may have chose the wrong thread to post this. someone please help me.
