My question involves towing laws for the State of: Massachusetts
Our 2 cars were towed during street sweeping in Medford, MA. Exactly 24 hours before the temporary tow zone enforcement, we left for a trip to New York City. At this time, no temporary tow zone signs were in place, but they were affixed to telephone poles later that day, as we found out from neighbors.
Is there a law that states how much notice is required for posting of temporary tow zone signs?
Only 1 of the 2 cars had a ticket from the Medford city police department, can my car be towed if it was not ticketed? (we have contacted city hall and no ticket exists, so it did not simply fall off the car during the tow process).
Thank you in advance for responding to my questions.
