My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Illinois
I was injured on the job back in September of 2009. I filed an injury incedent but never went to the doctor. I had dropped a crate of milk and it twisted my hand and arm. The pain was bearable, but by January 2010 it hurt so bad that I could not even bend my arm. I finally went to the doctor(company doctor) on January 4th. I was put on light duty, but was still doing the same job. I was told to go see a specialist which they finally approved on February 12th. I was told I needed a nerve test which was done February 23rd and I was told I needed surgery. I finally got workmans comp. to answer my calls today April 21 and they have denied my surgury because the doctor that said I needed surgery, said that my injury was not from dropping the milk. So now what are my options. I am still in so much pain that I can not even sleep at night./
