    Default High School Student

Hi guys, I'm currently a sophomore attending a U.S high school. I am undocumented and have many questions in regards to pursuing a higher degree of education. I talked to my guidance counselor about my status and she told me to apply for a student visa. Is that possible for me to do since I have been in the U.S for 8 years already? My family and I applied for an asylum back in 2002 (in CO)- we received our SS# and work permit but shortly after that we also received a deportation letter. Not wanting to leave this country filled with many opportunities, my family decided to move to another state (PA- where I'm currently residing). I am so confused and feel so hopeless. Even though I work hard, I feel like working hard isn't enough in this situation. Can you guys give me any solutions? Any thing I can do to be able to go to college? Thanks in advance.
