Default N400 and Working Before EAD Date

Hello everyone. I had a quick question about filing out the n400 for my wife. Seems that when we look back over her employment records, she jumped the gun (by 27 days) with respect to the EAD date that would indicate when she could legally work in the US. In other words, she started working 27 days before this date. When filing out the n400, everyone is in agreement that you should not withhold any information and be as forthcoming as possible. Does anyone have any ideas on if there will be any negative consequences to having started working 27 days early? I really hope not as it would really be a bummer to have come all this way only to reach an obstacle at this point, but I realize rules are rules, just curious to get some feedback with respect to this. Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to respond.

As the saying goes, you can't unring a bell.

If they believe she acted in good faith and she approaches the issue honestly, I would expect this to be forgiven. (But as you know, it's not my call to make.)
