Default Re: Bankruptcy Discharge of Nondischargeable Debts

Ok it would seem there is some confusion on my "question". I will go into details

I have some old court fines that are unpaid these fines are about six and seven years old, these fines are mostly traffic some are criminal fines. All of these fines were all sent to one collection agency that handles these fines for the court. I decided to file bankruptcy in 2009 and I paid a pro se to handle all of my paper work and bills I went through each and every bill with him and told him what it was for when we got to the the collection agency that handels the court fines I explained to the pro se that these were court fines and I was not sure if they could be included. He told me since these fines were under this collection agency that he would just include it in the bankruptcy anyways to see what happens.

I finally get my discharge and I recieve a from the bankruptcy court this paper that tells me which debts and which debts are not dischargable on this sheet of paper it says GOVERMENT, FINES, PENALTIES are not dischargable.

It would appear thats my answer ok so then after I recieve my discharge on my bankruptcy I print my credit report and these court fines are being reported by there collection agency and it says INCLUDED IN CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY.

Now my question is as follows since these fines are not suppost to be discharable they are listed in my credit report as included in chapter 7 bankruptcy. Now obviously somewhere along the line sombody made and error which is good error but is this the courts fault the collections fault or the credit reporting agency's all three list this as included in the bankruptcy. And even though these are included in my bankruptcy should I still pay these fines or should I just leave it alone and no these fines cannot suspend my license if they are unpaid I will not get in to that but basically back in 2005 thye created a law that they can no long suspend your liscense for any unpaid traffic fines then they retracted the law and I was one of the lucky ones I basically didn't have to pay these fines to reinstate my license

I HOPE THIS HELPS ANY CONFUSION IN THIS FORUM THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST.

No I did not ask the trustee any of these questions for fear of the trustee not discharging my bankruptcy

even if i wait till 2012 and they remove these fines from my credit report are they able to put them on my credit report for another seven years

AARON no where in my post did I ask if a creditor uses a collection agency to determine whether or not my debt was dischagred thank you for attempting though.

Basically what I am saying is I believe someone made a mistake and No links or goverment law or website will help this situation

Yes dogmatique this debt was a simple no asset chapter 7 bankruptcy but it was "LISTED" under the collection agency not under the traffic court

If you guys need more information from to answer this question I will be glad to assit you.

Correction dogmatique this debt was included in the bankruptcy and it was listed under the collection agency's name and not the court's name
