Your history will generally prevent you from obtaining any kind of visa in the US unless you can obtain a waiver. What was the reason for the deportation?

By all means have at least an initial consult with an immigration attorney.

The reason for my deportation was a 6 year overstay , i was charged with a violation that resulted in nothing showing on my criminal record .
Can you only get a hardship waiver or are there other options ?

I honestly cannot see you being granted any visa at all until the 10 years have passed. You obviously don't qualify for the hardship waiver.

Again, speak with an immigration attorney.
