Default Can You Get a Dismissed Felony Charge Off of Your Record

My question involves criminal records for the state of: Michigan

After having my record pulled for a job I was informed I have a "dismissed B & E" (felony) on my record. I was never informed of this charge and based on the date, it supposedly happened on the same day I was charged/convicted of an unrelated misdemeanor. My question is can a dismissed charge be removed from your record? And if so, how do I go about it without involving an attorney. Thanks

Are we talking about your actual, official criminal record here, or a record that was compiled from a private database?
