Shoplifting

I was stopped (before checkout) for not having all my merchandise scanned (with a self scanner). The lady noticed not all of my stuff was scanned and told me to re-checkout. I did and paid and left. I think it was obvious what i was planning, but no one said anything- shoplifting was never mentioned. If they just let me go like that and I paid, can it still be considered shoplifting? I'm just worried they let me pay and now will send the cops after me. They didn't detain me but I used a credit card, so they could get contact info that way. I'm really nervous about this- please help!
