    Default Judgement and Husbands Assets

My question involves judgment recovery in the State of: Indiana

I owe a credit card debt and they are asking the court for a judgement. I am unemployed, own nothing and have no bank accounts. Will the court look at my husbands assets to help satisfy the debt although the bill is not his?

He's not a defendant on the lawsuit, right? Then, if the issue goes before the court, the judge will be interested in your assets, not his. Note, that may include your share of marital assets.

The larger question is whether you have joint accounts that might be garnished.
