    Default Discrimination Over Your Appearance

    ok i applied for a job that clearly only very good looking people get.i would say im not really a great looking person and i kind of feal that was the reason i didnt get the job.is there any kind of legal action i might be able to take.i have a clean appearance,shave,brush teeth etc,im just not a great looking person.

    Default Appearance & Jobs

    It depends upon the job. The more entertainment-oriented a position, the more flexibility employers typically have to discriminate on the basis of appearance. (With the extreme example being roles on TV or in movies.)
