Will the police officer that showed up in the lost prevention room appear at my court date, and will the post prevention people show up?

I didnt sign anything for those other items from the other stores. Just jcpenny. Does that matter. I dont see how that could hold up in court considering they have no official record stating i stole them. I said they were a friends and i was holding her bag.

1. My friend went to court for shoplifting from 2 stores. the day i go to court will it only be about my jc penny theft or will it have to do with all of the stores?
2. The cop told me she would call me tomorrow which was 2 days ago to let me know of my charges?j im reading alot that other people were given stuff the day they got caught but i got handed no papers at all.
3. How long does it take for me to go before a judge?
4. My friend pleaded guilty and resfused a public defender because the judge said that if she got a public defender and they found her guilty she wouyld go to jail for 15 days so she pleaded guilty and they didnt send her to jail. Should i just please guilty cause the last thing i want is for me to go to jail.
