My question involves divorce in the State of: Florida.

A non-modified divorce agreement sounded like a good idea when my income was $293,000 in 2004 with the outlook for increased income very positive for the forseable future. Now, 6 years later and with my income @ $180,000 and no opportunity to increase it for several years, a non-modified agreement has turned out to be a death sentence.

I was in court today, for the 10th time in 24 months, and was told again by the judge that I need to file for a modification even though I have told him that I have a non-modifiable agreement. (I don't know if he has forgotten or is trying to tell me something I don't know)

My question, is it a waste of my time or should I pursue. As you can guess, my financial status will not support an expensive drawn out format.
