    Question What Happens After Emancipation

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Utah/Montana.

I am currently 17years old and a junior in high school in Montana living with our mother. My little sister is 14, an eighth grader living with our father in Utah.

While I realize the fact that she will have to wait till she's 16 to emancipate herself, when/if she is successful, would there be any problem with her moving in with me (as I would be 19 and a year out of high school).

Or is there some way this could happen sooner and/or without her getting emancipated? I've been looking around and can not seem to find anything on what may constitute a legal guardian?...

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
I'm just really worried about my sister

Did you read the sticky posts on this forum?

Do you think your sister qualifies for emancipation?

Do you know what emancipation entails?
