Default Disputing a Civil Case Over Past Childhood Sexual Abuse

My question involves court procedures for the state of: CA/SC

My sister has recently filed a civil case against my former step-father claiming that he sexually abused her back in the 60-70's.

I have asked her about these abuse claims as I can't remember anything even remotely indicating this abuse happened.

My sister has a history of filing civil cases and I believe that this case is being filed frivioulsy as the former step-father has since achieved financial gain.

My sister also has my mother involved in this case as my mother will cororborate any claim my sister files. My mother will be the beneficary if any awards are made.

How can I help stop this friviolus case? I am in SC and the case is being filed in CA.

Legally this does not concern you - honestly, the most you can do is help your former step-father find a competent attorney.
