    Post Moving Out at 18

I don't really want to be emancipated. I was just wondering can I move out without my dad's permission because I'm planning on moving to a different state when i turn 18 next month.

Once you are 18, you are considered to be legally emancipated and are free to go wherever you choose, and your parents cannot legally force you to stay.

The flip side of that coin, however, is that legally your parents will have no obligation to contribute so much as a dime towards your support.
