    Default Proving Bigamy

I live in Arkansas, but I have an issue in California.

Someone has contacted me to give me all the counties that I need to prove that she is still married to her husband who has also married someone here in Arkansas. This 'husband' has already harassed her enough, and she has asked for my help to appear that I found out on my own by collecting all the necesarry public documents.

I have checked all counties in Arkansas where he's lived, NO Divorce decree and I have confirmation that he actually did get married Nov 16, 2009 from the county clerk.

My problem is Tulare County in CA. It can take 6 months for me to get informational copies and there are some pending visitation/custody issues, that I need this information faster. I don't have the funds to hire a private investigator. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Your friend's lawyer can see if he can get anything faster by contacting them himself, or by virtue of a subpoena.

Unless you are Muslim you are not allowed to have more than one wife. Why would you want another wife anyway? In most countries, bigamy is illegal and you could be thrown in jail for it. Besides that, you will be breaking your first wife's heart but being dishonest and disloyal. Really! Get a grip! Don't know why you married if you wanted to sow your oats.
