    Default 2nd offense for shoplifting

My friend and i got caught stealing 3 months ago and got put on
the diversion program. Yesterday my friend got arrested again for stealing $800 worth of clothing out of dillards in atlanta, ga. She is now charged with felony charges. My question is since she is in the the diversion program and now she is charged w/ felony charges what will happen to her when she goes to court???

When the court in which she is enrolled in the diversion program learns of the new charges, she would normally again face the original criminal charge. She may be able to work out a plea bargain which resolves both charges, assuming they are being handled by the same prosecutor's office.
