Default Underage Loitering in a Tavern

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana, and about a month ago I was charged with underage loitering at a tavern. I entered because they said the concert was 18 or older as long as you stayed out of the bar, but you have to walk through the bar to get in. I told the undercover officer exactly what happened. I was specifically carded to see if I was 18 by security, he looked at my card with a light to make sure, and he let me in. I also did not go back through the bar.

    1. Am I legally responsible since they let me in after carding me? Could I plead not guilty?

    2. It's been a month and still no court summons. What are the odds that I will even receive one?

Also, I was not under the influence. I did not get tested, because it was clear to the officers that I was not intoxicated in any way

So you were loitering in the bar, but you think that's okay because you were admitted for a concert you were permitted to attend? Or are you stating that you in fact had to be 21 to attend the concert, but they were mistaken at the door? Or what?

Try contacting the court to see if a file has been opened for your charge.

Well they told me specifically that I had to be 18 to get in, and they said that if I were 18 I could be the stage area, which is seperate from the bar, and the man checked my id and said I was ok. So basically I was lied to. I was not in the bar when I was carded either.
