My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
Hi. I was issued a ticket for violating 22101D. I had made a left turn into a parking lot at 5:45pm. There is a sign posted that there is no left turn between 4-6PM. I actually didn't see the sign at first, and by the time I did, it as too late. The patrol car was hiding between too buildings in the plaza I was turning in to. On the ticket itself, the officer wrote "Driver fail[sic] to obey posted sign no rt turn m-f 4-6pm." She indicated incorrectly the type of turn. Because there was a lot of traffic in and out of that driveway during rush hour, could I make the case that she mistook me for someone else since there is no such sign (as she stated on the ticket)?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
