Unhappy Awarded Visitation 2009, But Still Have Not Seen Grandchild

My question involves grandparents rights in the State of: MI

We were awarded visitation Rights in 3/2009 in Indiana, that is where the child resided at the time.
The mother took the child out of state( to MI) immediatley after signing the Judgement.
Since it was established we had a very strong case to see the child, and she is avoiding any contact with us to make arrangments to visit.

We have spent thousands on this case, and we could refile for contempt, and re-modification of the Judgement, but now my husband is unemployed.
Can we fly to Michigan, and have the sheriff help us see our grandchild?
It has been over 3 years now that we have had any contact. She moves him constantly, our son, the father is not active in the child's life and our son lives in another state.
How do we avoid upsetting the child, but enforcing our legal right to see him????
    Thank You~

You absolutely NEED an attorney here. If you've actually been awarded visitation and Mom has prevented that, you can indeed file for contempt. But since it's been three years since you've seen her son, Mom actually might be able to convince a judge that it's NOT in the best interests of her son for you to have continued visitation.

I have made repeated attempts to reconnect w/grandson .
Gifts, cards, money, clothes, all are recieved w/o any response from his mother.
I provided a webcam, the court granted us bi-weekly webchats to reconnect, she insists she will not use it. She has an iphone, plays RPG games online, but I can't talk or see my grandson.
Ikeep meticulous records, every gift is sent signed signature, all attempts at communication are journaled.
She IS in Contempt, but why is it that we have always pull monmey out of our pockets, when she breaks trhe law.
She abandoned the baby for 3 years. We loved him as our own.
My son gave up his custiodial rights( could not handle it) and gave the child 3 years old at the time, to a stranger.
We are not the strangers. We provided a stable loving home.
So she has broken the bond intentionally. The judge will agree.
It's just where do I file, what state has jurisdictation??
    Thanks for your input~

The state that issued the most recent order has continuing jurisdiction. I assume that's Indiana.
