Question Battery Charges and Obtaining Citizenship

Hi, I would like to know if I can apply for my citizenship next month, I was charge for battery (fight) 3 years ago and would like to know if this is considered a crime of moral turpitude and if I have to wait the five years to show good conduct. I was arrested for battery, fingerprinted and sentenced to one year supervision (no contact with the other person). I have been a resident for five years and married to a citizen.

It would be in your best interests to wait out the five year period to show good conduct. USCIS has been pretty touchy of late about criminal records.
