Default 16yr Old and 18 Year Old Relationship, Involving a Baby

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: FL

hey guys just seeing if you can help me out.

me and my girlfriend been dating since she was 14 and i was 16.we are now 18 and she is 16.a couple month before our birthdays when i was 17 and she was 15 we decided to have a baby.this all came upon because she is adopted by her grandparents since the mother cant have legal custody of her.the grandparents got a letter saying that they will stop recieving benifits for my girl when she turns 16 unless she was pregnant or some kind of injury.so the grandparents where already planning to move because of this.so me and my girlfriend were not ready to break or and we never are going to be so we decided to have a baby.so that the grandparents(legal guardian) would still recieve money and so that hopefully our family can come together as one and finally accept that we are both in love and that we aint going no where.now that the grandparents found out she is pregnant all they want to do is make my life a living hell.they want to press charges and want to put a restraining order on me,they taking my girlfriend away from me and sending her to live with her mother.witch cant have legal custody of her by law. my question is can they really take her away from me when shes having my child and what can they do to me as far as charges go and what will happen to me.my girlfriend is very scared what will happen to me and all this stress i fell like shes going to loose the baby because her grandparents and family dont see that where in love and we did this for them and us.if i was to go to jail my girlfriend would loose it and thats what i dont want at all i have so much love for that baby already and its only 3 month.i can only imagine how i would be when its born.i already started saving money and buying stuff for the baby just in case i do go to jail.i really dont want to miss my child first birthday or the first time he walks or anything i just wanna be there with my girl the entire way and they dont see that and they wont give me the chance to prove it or say it.i just want to know what kind of trouble can i get and how long can i be in jail please help me out.thank you

If you don't want to suffer the penalties from statutory rape charges, don't have sex with children.

Now then.... her guardians can send her to live where ever they wish her to live. You have no legal right to her... only to the baby and only then after you have established your paternity in a court of law.

By the way, no one will believe the whole "we wanted a baby to keep getting benefits" crap... just because you think you found a reason to do what every teenager wants to do doesn't mean it holds water.

the mother is not allowed to have custody of her.there was an accident involving her younger brother getting killed by her father when she was a child.so the court took away her parental rights.

    That doesn't change my answer.
