    Default Parents in Court

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: North Carolina

Today I was pulled going 79 in a 60 on my way to winston-salem. My girlfriend was in the car with me, I was taking her home. I have a mandatory court date in winston-salem although I live in Greensboro. The problem is I was home alone so she came to stay with me, a friend brought her and I took her home the next day without my parents knowing. I told them I was alone. My question is is there anyway they could find out she was in the car? Would the officer mention it at trial? I'm 18 so I could go to trial alone, but if my parents went would they even be allowed in the courtroom?
