My question involves criminal law for the state of: ID
Okay, so I interviewed at a job and it sounds like I have a really good chance at and I let them know everything I knew of as far as convictions but they were also thorough enough to want to know speeding tickets etc. Well, my problem is if they're thorough enough to want to know that would they also probably disqualify me for not disclosing that I was charged with an offense back in 2005 or 2006??? It was a felony offense but was dropped by the prosecution, I've never had it come up on a background check as I was never arrested nor convicted but I still managed to pull it up with an Idaho case search. Anyhow, my in your opinion, do you know if I have anything to worry about?
From my view it seems like they only wanted to know convictions even though I have had places want to know even charges. I even had a background check done to see if I could roommate with a girl that had a kid and she was under probation *never happened* but I asked them to do the background check and they said I was fine and the only thing that showed up was some minor things that happened that I *did* mention.
I hope that if they do find it that they see I was never convicted, the only accusations they seemed to care about was theft and I've never been accused of that.
