My question involves an arrest warrant from the State of: Florida

I have an active warrant out in Florida for larceny (credit card forgery)

The warrant was opened 03/15/2002

I was on a tourist visa at the time I used the credit card of a former U.S. landlord

1. What are possible charges if arrested?

2. Is there any way that the arrest can be dropped?

What I meant by possible charges is that if found guilty what is the maximum sentence?

It depends on the exact charges you get convicted under, and the number of counts of each (influenced by things like the aggregate amount, for instance). For misdemeanors, you're looking at 364 days in county jail for each misdemeanor conviction, and up to 5 years in prison for each count if convicted of grand larceny (felony level).
