Default Removing a Collection From My Credit Report

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: NEVADA

HOW WOULD I BE ABLE TO REMOVE A COLLECTION FROM MY CREDIT REPORT INVOLVING MY EX WHOM WAS LEGALLY THE PRIMARY ONE ON THE APARTMENT LEIN. INSTEAD OF SENDING HIM TO COLLECTIONS THEY SEND ME, DUE TO THEY HAVE THIS RULE THAT 18 AND OVER HAS TO FILL OUT AN APPLICTION. HOW CAN I REMOVE IT OR MOVE TO HIS CREDIT.

first, get rid of the caps.

what kind of collections are you talking about and were you a signatory to the contract?

About an apartment whom sent to collections, yes i did sign paper work but just because of that rule they have, that anyone over 18 needs to fill out an application. But i was not the primary, nor the co-applicant.

then what were you on the contract? why would you be responsible, or not responsible, for the money owed. Explain the situation because as it is, I have no idea as to why you owe or they thought you owe anything.

i had to sign the lein due to im over 18 and i was living their with him at this apartment complex... i moved out way before the contract was over.. he stayed living there....once again i was not the co-signer ... basically anyone living with us over the age of 18 had to do the application for this apartment complex... so i wouldnt understand either why they would send me to collections

well, if you signed the lease, you are a lessor and as such, you can be held liable for the debt, if it is a valid debt.

from what I gather, the line on your credit report is most likely proper and as such, have no avenue other than time to allow the line to be removed from your credit report.
