Default An Employer Would Like to Hire My Brother

My brother is a very skilled artisan -- he does exceptional woodwork. Here is an example of his work to help you answer my question...

An employer is interested in hiring him to do this sort of work in the U.S. What kind of visa would he need to apply for? My brother does not have a college education, but what he does is not something that anyone can do either. I was thinking an H2B, but I'm not sure if that would work. An EB3 takes 7 years, I think, and I don't know if he would be able to prove that he is an artist based on the O visa. Suggestions? This employer has never sponsored anyone before, so I wanted to give him some guidance.

    We've gone over this before.

His prospective employer should consider running the job description and goals past an immigration lawyer, along with the details of your brother's resume.

I'm sorry. Obviously the first answer wasn't what I was looking for. An L visa only works for a partner company, and that wouldn't pertain to this particular case. I was asking on this forum before taking my case to a lawyer.

It's not your case. It's a matter between your brother and his prospective employer.

Perhaps the primary reason you're having trouble identifying a visa that will produce the result you want is that there doesn't appear to be a visa that will produce the results you want.
