    Question Fingerprint Appointment

I have a question about the things to take to the appointment.

It says to take the letter and photo identification.

    Any of the following:
-passport or national photo identification issued by your country
    -driver license
    -military photo identification
-state-issued photo identification card (what is this?????)

Now here is the thing.... if you don't have a passport, or a "non-expired" driver license, or military photo id, or state-issued photo id...

    What do you do?????

Thank you so much for your time

A state-issued photo identification card is exactly what it sounds like. Check with your state's DMV.

What happened to your passport and why can't you replace it?

Sorry for the delayed reply. Passport was lost, consulate will only give a piece of paper, not the actual passport.

Been told that an experied Driver License might work, is this correct?

    Thank you for your time!

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Usually no.

Why haven't you just gone to the DMV to get an ID card? It only takes a few minutes and costs around $10 - $12.

it's not that easy for someone who have an illegal status in the states to
get an I.D. card. they can't just walk into the DMV and get one.

but as to the biometrics appointment, an expired DL will be just fine.
that is what i used when i had my biometrics taken and trust me on this one,
they know very well that a large number of people that come to that appointment is under an illegal status and have no other form of I.D.
