Default California Meal and Break Laws

I am security guard in the state of California. My company is enforcing us to take two meal breaks when my shift is longer than 10 hrs. Is it mandatory to take two or do I have the option to just take one? I eat lunch only once a day I see no point in taking two lunches.

Whatever the company says do is mandatory, regardless of whether the law requires it or not.
