Default Drinking Ticket in the State of Indiana

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana

I was at a college off campus party and the cops showed up and began to give out drinking tickets. I had to do a breathalyzer where I blew a .122. I was then issued a ticket but on the ticket it did not say what I blew. This is my first offense in the state or in any state. The ticket says that I made a misdemeanor offense and that I need to appear at the county clerks office in six days. Since this is my first offense I was hoping to get pretrial diversion to get this off my record. I am willing to pay a fine as well.
My question is how much do you think I will be able to get this off my record? I am going to be a teacher so my record needs to be cleared. I am a good student and was really at the wrong place at the wrong time. Do you think I will have to get a lawyer? How will the trail be?
    Thank you for any advice!

Consult a local criminal defense lawyers about the policies of the local court and prosecutor. Some jurisdictions take a much tougher line than others.
