Great write up!
Few questions though. I got a speeding ticket last December from a Lynnwood, WA speedtrap. Officer was using laser (although he was hidden around a corner I don't see how he lazed me especially with 2 cars surrounding me) He tried pulling over a truck that was driving in the left lane (I was in the right lane with no cars behind me so I am pretty sure he wasn't waiting for the truck to get out of his way) Officer said he clocked me at 46 in a 30 which is not right. I was doing no more than 33-35 because of a car in front of me. I am guessing that he might have clocked one of the cars in front of me who turned off onto a side street.
Anyways, whats the best way to use this in court? Should I avoid contesting by mail? Where can I get information about the laser SMD? Just call up the Lynnwood pd and ask for it? Would the officer have video?
