My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: ohio

i live in cloumbus ohio and my mom and her boyfriend are both in the middle of devourses and it rlly stessful! i am neglected alot by my mother and have been abuse a couple of times but child and family servises have done nothing about it because they wont believe me :,( is there anyway out of my home? i am old enough to be emancipated but i hear i wont be able to if this is true what are some other ways out of my current home? i litterally live out of a gym bag

Emancipation is meant for children who are left without parental care - such as if both parents get killed, and the child needs to be able to (for example) sign a lease etc.

There are only two ways to be legally emancipated in Ohio; both of them require parental consent and you are not old enough for one of them.

1.) Legal marriage (depending on what part of Ohio you are in, you might also need judicial permission)

2.) Membership in the active armed forces (for which even with parental permission you are not old enough)
