The mall officer asked me if I had ever done this before, When I replied that I had not, he told me that he could check. What do you think he meant by that?

I am still concerned that this issue could come back to haunt me in my professional licensure. There is a questions that asks about being arrested, cited, charged, entering a pre-trial diversion, etc. I just don't know what to do.

He could have meant that the mall has records. He could have meant that he has an "in" with Miss Cleo or the Psychic Friends Network.

From what you have said, you were't arrested, you weren't charged, you weren't placed into pretrial diversion, etc.

I was told I was not allowed to come back for 6 months. This would not be considered a pre-trail diversion/probation, would it?

Once again, thank you so much for your help, Aaron.

The event occured two years ago. This would be ample time to file a police report and/or charges, correct?

    Default No Charges Filed

Yes. (And we're treading water at this point.)

    Default Filing Charges

Two years would be ample time to file a police report and/or charges. I don't know whether or not the statute of limitations has expired for your jurisdiction, but it is rare that any police agency or prosecutor would be willing to pick up a misdemeanor case where the complainant waits two years to make a report.
