Post Just Something I Would Like Everyone to Know

I was caught shoplifting on Jan. 27th, I am still waiting to go to court, which is on Feb. 18th. It is my first offense.

Anyways, the point of this post is I would like to apologize to everyone. I did not know that stealing drives up prices for everyone else. It may of just been one time for me, but I guess that one time can cost a lot (for me and everyone else).
I can assure you, that it will NEVER happen again. I don't know why I had such bad judgement come over me.

    Thank you for reading.

    Hey Precious,

I am so happy that an offender on these boards "finally gets it". Finally accepts responsibility, admits their lapse of judgment and is trying to make amends to those they hurt by shoplifting.

Like today in the store, I "confronted" a guy I saw who was about to "steal" a Sunday Newspaper. A petty, $2.00 Sunday newspaper. I referred him to this site.

I wish you all the best when you go to court. You will be OK in the long run because you are truly sorry and want to do better and be better.

    Keep in Touch,

    Reformed Teacher.

I second this post. I was caught shoplifting about a year ago too. I was basically addicted to shoplifting but now i stopped completely. (now i'm currently in trouble for buying a stolen lapto from a trusted friend but that's another story) those of you who got caught would know how embarrassing it is to get involved in this. it's so shameful and self-degrading that you just wana hide somewhere; words cannot explain the feelings and emotion you get when you get caught.
successfully shoplifting is more dangerous than getting caught because success makes you keep going back to steal, more frequently as well as stealing higher priced items, thus you are bound to get caught.
all i can suggest is DO NOT STEAL. the items you may get for free is really not worth the trouble and emotional distress that you will go through.
