    Default How Can I Get Emancipated

    My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Oregon. I am currently 16 years old. I have a full time job, about $1,000 dollars in a savings account, and a two month old little girl. Both my parents will give consent towards my emancipation and i have a place to live but before they will rent to me they requested that i do get emancipated because of my age. I do not suffer from any sort of abuse and i don't hate my parents or anything. I just feel it is right to get my own place for my baby and my fiance. Do i need anything else?

    Read here.

    If you meet the criteria laid out, you can get the relevant forms from the Clerk of Courts in your county.
