Default What is taking so long for charges to be filed?

It has been three weeks, which is not long to some, but seems like a lifetime to me!! The police were called when I was detained but not arrest me or give me a citation but I was told the LP would go to comissioner to press charges. I have called the clerks office every day and....nothing. Why would an LP wait so long? DO they wait until they have several cases, THe incident was in Target and everything was so serious I thought they would go immediately.

I got caught at Target as well and so far have heard nothing, so maybe they're slow with things.
