    Default Can't Find Spouse, How to Divorce in Washington

    My question involves divorce in the State of: Washington

    My husband and I split over 3 years ago. In that time, he has moved and I have no idea how to get a hold of him. I think he's in California, but don't know for sure.

    How would I go about filing for divorce in Washington state when I have no way to serve him? Also, we have 4 kids together and I'm not sure how to proceed with child support or custody issues.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    What does your attorney advise? If you don't have one, then you honestly need to hire, or at least consult, one. when kids are involved, this is not a do-it-yourselfer.

    Absolutely! Specially considering that service by publication may be needed in this case.

    Seriously OP, take M'sta Mikey's advice. Seek an attorney.
