My question involves a security deposit in the State of: FLORIDA

my Letter of demand (sec deposit) needs perfecting/proofing.... so I it can be in its best professional shape before I go through and mail it, which I need to do ASAP....to finally get this ball rolling....

my letter lays out the situation without my need to post anything additional... just need the letter formatted and edited in top shape grammatically and legally, to my best interests... I cant do any better but know it can be improved and dont have $100's to pay these people to edit it to perfection for me... and right now i keep staying stuck because i wont mail it off until its in that shape that i feel is best possible, as I get one shot to scare her with the seriousness of this all so she complies and tho i will if i have too, spare me from the added drain of energy perusing my money back via small claims...

thanks for the help someone out there / on here im confident can be a good Samaritan and take a few mins (literally) to speed-proof my letter, shaping it ready to be mailed off with good confidence...

thanks
thanks,
thanks

Dear XXx XXXXXXX,

I am writing on behalf of client, XXXXXXXXXX, a former tenant of your property at 39XXXXX XXXXX Street, Panama City Beach, FL 32408.

As you are aware, the premises were vacated on April 19th, plenty of time has passed and thus, we assume a reminder is possibly needed, as opposed to Small Claims legal actions in recovering the remaining portion of Mr. Washington’s deposit, which our records indicate is $300.

He is entitled to it for no letter was mailed to his last known address via certified mail stating your intentions to make a claim on his deposit…this 30 day window has long expired. Consequently this failure forfeited any right to these funds. We have plenty of documentation or indisputable evidence that it was paid via your own issued receipts, and your issued check supports only $300 was ultimately returned.

There has been much time passed, however still within the realm of my client’s entitlement to these unreturned deposit funds that you kept unconstitutionally…

We are confident you will take this matter seriously as us, and promptly comply to the demands set forth in this letter within 7 days from receiving this. Doing so, will relieve the need to process our dispute before a judge, in which we will set forth to also collect the owed fees plus the obligated interest that has occurred on the funds and any additional costs applicable by Florida law/statues.

Thank you ahead of time for your resolution.

Your Sincerely,

XXXXXXXX.
