My question involves criminal law for the state of: TEXAS
Can someone please tell me what this charge means: Sex A-V in the state of Texas? Does this mean a sex offense against a child?

do you have a statute number to go along with that? I cannot find anything yet with just what you have.
There would typically be another few letters indicating the details. For example, "ch" = child; "dw" = deadly weapon; "agg" = aggravated.
I don't have a statute number. I'm pulling this charge from the county public records & the charge states sex A-V with no other indicating letters. Is there some way I could get a statute number or could you tell me if the number is usually accessible to the public?
that I can't answer. I would suggest calling the court and simply asking them.
