Default Civil Demand Letter - I Don't Want It to Come to My House

Today I was caught leaving Shop Rite with $15 worth of stolen eye drops. (You guys know why)

I know I am getting a Civil Demand Letter in the mail but I really don't want it to come to my house. Is there anyway to rent a P.O box or make it go to my post office. (FYI not to good with the postal system)

    Also...

1.) How much do u guys think i will be fined?
2.) How long do these things usually take to come?
3.) Will it come in the mail or will i have to sign for it?

I live in NJ if it helps.

    1) That's going to depend on the retailer. In New Jersey, it can be up to $500.

    2) Depends on how backed up their loss recovery department is.

    3) Depends on the company's policies. They often come certified.

You can try having your mail forwarded to a PO Box. The clerks at your local office will help you set it up.
