I got pulled over for speeding and was issued a criminal ticket because the the officer said that when there are houses on both sides of the road that are facing the road that road is considered residential. Now this roads posted speed limit is 40 MPH and I dont know if you should be going 40 in what is considered residential.

Another concern is that the address he wrote on the ticket as the place he clocked me there are only houses on one side of the road
and houses on both sides aren't for another half mile down the road.
wich only last for about 4 houses then a major traffic signal stops you.
This road is 5 lanes wide with a middle turning lane and is a major road like any other I know.

Do I have a chance to fight this ticket. I know its a criminal charge and I should consult a lawyer but I just dont have the money.
Court date tommorrow morning 8:30am 04/17
