I was told by a collector that the SOL doesn't apply to medical debt owed to a municipally-owned hospital in Oregon. Is there a statute that supports that or do judges simply waive the SOL in court?
In mediation today, the collector refused to budge today on 10-yr old debt and the next step is a trial. I didn't want to take the collector's word. They refused to cite a statute to back up their claim.
Do I have to keep proof of payment to any city-owned hospital for the rest of my life?
Thanks in advance!
