Default Time Limit for Filing Civil Harassment

My question involves the issue of civil harassment (not domestic violence) in the state of Missouri.

Is there anything akin to a "statute of limitations" on harassing conduct? How long after harassing conduct does a petitioner have to file for a civil harassment restraining order?

One would think there would have to be a time limit. I.e., three years after the harassing conduct has taken place, the issue is stale.

If nobody knows specifically for Missouri, but has answers for other states, I'd be interested to know those answers.

Specifically, I have not looked, but the filing must generally be contemporaneous with the act/s. Unilke a civil suit seeking damages, which has an SOL, you are asking a court to STOP an act which is likely to happen in the future. If an act occurs in Jan, then none since, and you file for a RO/Protection order in May, it will be denied, as an example.
