Default What To Do After a MIP Citation

I'm 18 and I just received an MIP citation in the state of Oregon. I have a clean record, and on my citation the officer neglected to check which courthouse I need to show up at for my court date. Two of my friends were telling me this makes the ticket invalid and I should call up the courthouse to have them dismiss it...is this true or what should I do about the citation? Please help me!!!

If your friends are correct, you can call the courthouse and get the ticket dismissed. Realistically, you can call the courthouse and find out where you are supposed to appear (if you don't already know), wait for a notice to appear (which may come if the court gives a second notice by mail or notices the error itself), or risk that the court will not notice the error and will mistakenly conclude that you intentionally appeared in court.

My nephew currently has recieved an MIP by consumption in the State of Oregon. The original was made for him to appear in the juvenile court, but the juvenile dept. sent the citation back to the officer noting that he is an adult and the officer then sent another citation to replace the original citation through certified mail.
    Is this OK???
