Default Identity Theft, Interfering with Business

    Hello,
Me and my wife, we have our own buiness, and we have a issue with this wholesaler.

We do NOT deal with this wholesaler and we buy our products directly from importers. I do not know why, but this wholesaler is calling my importers and telling them not to send products to us, not only that, they are also stealing our identity.

She calls my importers to verify we have account with them by faking our identity, once she verifies we have account with them, she threatens importers to not send any merchandise to us.

Not only she's stealing our business identity, she's interfering with our business.

What would be the best way to deal with this kind of situation?

    Please help
    Thank you in advance

Does this wholesaler have an exclusive agreement with those exporters?? Exclusives are very common in some businesses.

I worked for an exporter where we have exclusives with some overseas distributors, but despite this, some overseas importers still managed to import without going through distributors.

It got to a point where a distributor hired and stationed two guys in customs in one foreign country, and file a complaint every time something was imported NOT through them, and we have to pay them a commission for these sales, even though an importer ordered direct.

If there is an exclusive, the wholesaler would have a beef with you, and can legally stop you.
